Our History

YEAR 1962

The center was established in 1962 as the Center for Economic and Social Studies and Research in Tunisia, known as CERES.

FROM 1969 TO 1972

On May 19, 1969, it was merged with the Bureau of Social Research and its name became the Institute of Planning, Statistics, Legislative, Economic and Social Studies.

FROM 1972 TO 1998

In 1972, the center's name was changed again to its current name: The Center for Economic and Social Studies and Research

ANNÉE 1998

The headquarters of the center, which was located in Tunis, has been reorganized, more precisely on Ali Al-Zawaoui Square, and is now located at 3 Rd. Al-Muzara in the Al-Khadra district of the capital.
